Meet Dr. Evangeline Amores

Dr. Evangeline Amores brings decades of clinical experience, advanced training, and a compassionate approach to patient care at Financial District Dentistry. Her healthcare journey began in 1980, when she earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from New York University and gained valuable experience in emergency room and ICU settings.

Dr. Amores later pursued dentistry earning her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Columbia University’s School of Dental and Oral Surgery. She continued her professional training with a General Practice Residency at NY Presbyterian Weill Cornell University Hospital of Columbia and Cornell and completed a Fellowship in Special Care Dentistry at Albert Einstein Medical Center.

With more than 30 years of experience serving patients in the area, Dr. Amores is dedicated to providing high-quality, personalized dental care. She is a respected member of the dental community and maintains professional memberships with the American Dental Association, California Dental Association, and American Academy of Implant Dentistry.

Dr. Amores is committed to continuing education and regularly enhances her skills through advanced dental training, including implant dentistry courses such as the Maxi Implant Course at Loma Linda University. Her goal is to incorporate modern dental technologies, proven techniques, and a patient-centered approach to help patients achieve healthier smiles.

Dr. Amores speaks English, Tagalog, and Spanish, helping her connect with patients from diverse backgrounds.

Outside the office, Dr. Amores enjoys kiteboarding, playing tennis, and traveling.

Gad S. Heinic, DMD

Dr. Gad S. Heimic is a distinguished member of the dental community, having completed his undergraduate studies and obtained his Doctor of Dental Medicine at the Hebrew University-Hadassah School of Dental Medicine in Jerusalem, Israel, in 1986. His commitment to advancing his expertise took him to the United States, where he pursued advanced education in general dentistry at the Eastman Dental Center at the University of Rochester, New York, from 1987 to 1988, followed by additional specialization at the University of California, San Francisco, School of Dentistry from 1988 to 1989.

Dr. Heimic’s extensive training includes an Oral Medicine Fellowship in the Department of Stomatology at UCSF from 1989 to 1992, after which he served as an Assistant Clinical Professor in the same department until 1994. A board-certified diplomat of the American Board of Oral Medicine since 1992, he has been practicing in San Francisco since 1994, dedicating his career to providing patients with the best preventive oral care. Outside of his professional life, Dr. Heimic enjoys traveling, reading, music, exercising and indulging in his favorite British crime TV series. He lives in San Francisco with his partner of 36 years, Robert.
